You’ve had a big loss-death, identity, home, political and climate instability etc. The pain is unbearable at times and you don’t want to face it alone.

Life is a roller coaster. One minute you’re on edge, the next you’re checked-out.

Part of you wants to feel seen and understood and part of you wants to hide what’s really underneath.

Distractions and staying busy used to work well enough, but life is feeling out of control and you’re exhausted.

You are your own worst critic - You would never talk to others the ways that you talk to yourself.

You’re ready for a CHANGE.

Testimonial

“Ingrid created such a special environment from the very start. An environment where I felt unashamed for my tears and instead embraced them when they appeared as a part of the healing process. Every word I spoke, every story I told, and every emotion I unpacked was heard and acknowledged, each given the space and time it needed. In every session with Ingrid, I leaned further into personal and emotional growth. I learned to give myself time when I really needed it, to reach out for help when I felt I couldn’t bear the weight of grief from the loss of my father or anxiety on my own, to live more slowly when the world around me felt frantic, and how to stand up for myself with confidence.”

Testimonial

I have been a client of Ingrid for over three years. She is empathetic, generous and committed to the growth of her clients. She has treated me with respect and dignity throughout some of the most challenging moments of my life. Her approach considers the whole identity of the client and her use of a multicultural lens to therapy keeps the client at the center of her work. Working with Ingrid not only changed my life, but saved my life.

Hi, I’m Ingrid

I see many of our struggles in feeling balance and connection as stemming from creative survival strategies to cope with life's many stressors. What helped us in the past doesn’t always work in the long-term. Many of your old ways of coping might be wearing you down through relationship disturbances, overall exhaustion, increasing stress levels, physical health problems, lack of fulfillment etc.

I specialize in helping people heal from grief and loss, complex and acute trauma, relationship struggles, depression and anxiety. I offer both individual and group therapy to help get to the root of your struggles so that you can experience lasting change, balance and greater fulfillment. As a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), I work with clients throughout Boulder County and Colorado.

Services

  • Individual Therapy

In individual therapy, we can work together in helping you heal trauma, build self-compassion and self-esteem, improve your relationships with others, better manage your emotions, and get unstuck from patterns that aren’t working for you anymore. This is a place for you to feel seen, understood and supported in making the changes you want.

  • Group Therapy

If it feels like something is holding you back from deeper relationships and authentic connections, process groups can help. I offer a weekly, here-and-now style Relationships Process Group to help you improve your connection with yourself and others.
